My name is Michał Ziora. I'm a Norwegian language tutor. I help my to students become independent learners, and to make language learning both enjoyable and meaningful. With my guidance, you will practice Norwegian, and you will also learn how to learn it effectively on your own.

I know how to make learning effective and enjoyable. I learned Norwegian on my own and became fluent surprisingly quickly - so much so that by the end of my first year in Norway, it had become the main language of my daily life. I did this without any language school or private teacher.

I have compared my experiences with other learners and with the scientific literature on language acquisition. This gives me a broader knowledge of the universal principles of language learning that work not only for me, but for virtually everyone. Having studied psychology, I understand the deeper roots of problems such as language anxiety or lack of motivation. I am educated to help people who struggle with these mental barriers.

I can suggest the right materials, teach you how to use them, help you plan your self-study, hold you accountable and encourage you when your enthusiasm wanes. If you want a traditional language course with grammar drills, vocabulary lists, and test practice, I am not the right person for you. Many people teach Norwegian this way and you can take classes with them.
