About
My name is Michał Ziora. I'm an autodidact who loves to learn new languages. I started learning Norwegian in 2021 and moved to Norway in January 2022. 8 months later I got a job in a 100% Norwegian speaking workplace. By the end of 2022, Norwegian became the main language of my daily life. After less than a year of living in Norway, I could successfully work and socialize with Norwegians because I had learned their language. I did this without taking a language course. I learned it all on my own. Now I want to help others find a way to learn on their own that works for them.

I started this blog to show you how to learn Norwegian on your own. I believe that taking responsibility for your own learning is necessary for success. Here you will find knowledge about language learning principles, effective methods, learning resources and tips on how to use them to master Norwegian at a satisfactory level.
I am not speaking from the perspective of a language teacher, but as a reflective learner sharing my own experiences with other learners. I cannot teach you Norwegian, but I can show you how you can learn it. The texts on this blog are based on my own adventure with the Norwegian language, insights from other learners and the science of educational psychology and language acquisition.
